TOBA FOUNTAINS TO BE A PART OF THE HISTORIC REBIRTH OF THE STETSON MANSION

Huntington Beach, CA July 18, 2007-- Toba Fountains, a revolutionary pool and garden pond fountain company, is pleased to announce that it will join a distinguished group of manufacturers and designers in breathing new life into a historic national landmark. Toba Fountains will provide the newly renovated Stetson Mansion in DeLand, Florida with a Legend Fountain for pools to be displayed in their newly renovated pool area. HGTV has slated the home for an episode of “If Walls Could Talk.” Other manufacturers involved in this project are Sherwin Williams, Dirt Devil, Van Dykes, Baldwin Hardware Corporation, WeatherPrints, Savogran, TarMak and so many others.

Listed in the national historic register and designed by the noted architect George T. Pearson in 1886, Stetson Mansion was home to John Stetson, the famous hat manufacturer from Philadelphia. He set the standard for fine craftsmanship and raised the standards for employee work conditions. His mansion was one of the first homes in the world designed with Edison electricity. Thomas Edison, a close friend of John Stetson, installed the then, “state of the art” equipment.
